Enjoy the captivating sound of Gaaci Fusion on the final night.
Gaaci Fusion is a music group, founded in 2021 in Belgium by Cheikhou BaGaaci (son of the renowned Mauritanian artist and koni player Saidou Ba), and owes its name to the sound of the koni or hoddou. Gaaci Fusion presents a unique blend of traditional Fulani nomadic music and modern influences.

Following the Award Night and closing ceremony, the closing film will be screened: My Father's Shadow
Followed by a reception.

Award Night & Slotceremonie

Tijdens de slotavond van het Afrika Filmfestival worden beloftevolle talenten in de bloemetjes gezet. Zowel de winnaars binnen de competitie van de Young African Filmmakers Award (YAFMA) als die van de Belgian Shorts ontvangen een geldprijs ter waarde van 500 euro van de jury.
