Vloedlyn

On the 25th of January 1981 Laingsburg, a small town in the semi-desert heart of South Africa, experienced a devestating flood. People from this area still blame the "watersnake", a mythical creature, for conjuring the waters. They claim he was avenging the death, caused by a local farmer, of one of his watermaidens. This film takes an imaginary look at the event and its consequences.
