Timgad

Jamel, a French archaeologist of Algerian origin, moves to Algeria to do excavations in the grand ruins of the old Roman town Timgad. The past unfolds before him, while the present overwhelms him when he becomes the coach of the local football club "La Juventus de Timgad". He has eleven players of 12 years old: they have neither shoes nor sweaters, but loads of talent. And their best player turns out to be a girl! Moving film about gender equality and (religious) tolerance.
