The Tale Behind Egyptian Brick

On the outskirts of the Egyptian capital Cairo, there are hundreds of clay brick factories. This industry represents an old and important economic business. Brick factories use desert clay instead of Nile mud. But this work is hardly rewarded. The work conditions are extremely heavy without any kind of safety equipment, which puts the workers at a higher risk of injuries. They ask for more consideration for their work and their health and want to have a health insurance and a worthy salary.
