This movie would certainly qualify as an African Western. Especially because of the opening scene. A man returns to his native village. He has left the city behind him. He appears to have made a fortune and lives in prosperity. He marries his childhood sweetheart (Mariam Kaba). He lets his friends and family share in his wealth. But his wealth has not been acquired in a fair way. One day the past overtakes him. He could never have imagined what an effect the truth would have on his life and that of his friends. Not everything is for sale, might be he moral of the story.
