Papicha

1997, Algeria. Nedjma, a 18-year-old student, dreams of a career as a fashion designer and sells her sexy clothes to papichas, pretty young Algerian girls, in night club toilets.  Her life as an independent woman is threatened, however, by religious fundamentalists who demand women to wear the burqa before leaving the house. Undeterred, Nedjima decides to fight for her freedom and independence and organizes a fashion show out of protest.
