LADIES TURN

Unfortunately, in Senegal, and as in numerous countries in the world, soccer is generally considered a sport for men, not women. ‘Ladies’ Turn’ unfolds a gripping story addressing this female issue following a team of Senegalese women seizing their right to play soccer on their neighborhood field. The film shows their story for over a year, as they persistently battle obstacles faced by the strongly patriarchal Senegalese communities.
