Rugero, a young Tutsi boy, witnesses the brutal murder of his parents at the hands of the Interahamwe during the 1994 Rwandan genocide. Scarred and isolated, he clings to a shattered glass lamp – the only remnant of his lost family. His heart fills with rage, turning the fragile shards into a symbol of revenge.
