Inside the mind of Favela Funk

 “Favela funk” is explicitly pornographic, both in its lyrics and choreography. Also, the scene is dominated by men, so that the lyrics always show a male, sexist perspective on sex, which reduces women to objects of desire. But how do women feel about that? This is a documentary about love and relationships as seen through the eyes of the youth, which lives in a poor environment, surrounded by this controversial putaria funk; an analysis of the relationship between Favela funk lyrics and the personal lives of its listeners.
