FESTBUK

The Festbuk Festival never fails to deliver and this year was no different. The theme of the festival was the Renaissance of the Great Lakes area. Bukavu used to be renowned as ‘the beauty’, but now more than ever it focuses on rebirth and innovation. Sadly we can all remember the many wars that devastated the whole province. but in spite of those conflicts, life goes on and the inhabitants do the best they can to keep up with contemporary developments. The festival, organised by 3Tamis, is one of many initiatives announcing a renaissance.
