A reserved and lonely young man, going through a difficult time, commits small crimes to survive. By robbing a young woman passionate about cinema, his life has transformed by the films he found in her bag. Facão is a film about changes art can produce in a person's life. It's about the powerful tool that films are and their role in society. Facão has been filmed in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil with a crew and cast which is 95% black and female.
