ENTRE LA COUPE ET L'ELECTION

In the period of the elections of 2006, Clarisse and Demato, two Congolese students of the National Institute for the Arts decide to make a film about the first Subsaharian African football team that was qualified for the football World Cup : the team from Zaïre in1974, that also won that year’s African championship for national teams. They called themselves the ‘Leopards of Zaïre’. But those glory days belong to the past, even though memories keep giving way to vibrating emotions among the Congolese and even on the entire continent.
