Banel et Adama

Adama and Banel are two young adults living in a remote village in northern Senegal. Although they are each other's opposites - Adama is quiet and introverted, while Banel is passionate and rebellious - they fall in love with each other. They choose love and decide to leave their families to live together. Adama also renounces his birthright to become future leader of the village, causing chaos and unrest in the community. Then, when the rain also fails to arrive, the situation becomes even worse. 

The film was shot on location in northern Senegal with a cast of non-professional actors.

The film is preceded by the shortfilm 'Eddy'.
