At only 12, Divine helps her mother sell omelets in a night market in Kinshasa. That evening their objective was to earn enough money to pay the school fees the next day to allow Divine to enter the classroom. Like every night, the two women have to face the demands of the customers and the suspicious atmosphere of the night. The police are not there to protect them. In the meantime, the new president is giving a speech assuring that everything will become better.
