Lára, a single mother, tries to get her life back on track. Her selection as a border guard trainee arrives not a moment too soon. Adja, a refugee from Africa, illegally tries to reach Canada with her daughter. When the lives of the two women intersect at passport control, neither of them realise to what extent they wil influence each other’s future.

A powerful socio-critical drama. Adja is played by Babetida Sadjo, the Belgian actress with roots in Guinea-Bissau. She was the campaign image of AFF 2016.
