20 ANS PLUS TARD

Two decades on, director Karirima Ngarambe Aimable’s documentary returns to the last genocide of the twentieth century, perpetrated against the Tutsis of Rwanda in April 1994. The conclusion is that the story of this dismal campaign that shocked the whole planet and cost more than a million people their lives is not limited to Rwanda. The experiences, feelings, opinions and advice of contributors of various nationalities show that the memory of this genocide, the management of its aftermath and the lessons this humanitarian tragedy provides must be used to benefit present and future generations, and that “never again” is not just an empty slogan.
